4. Extra motion for Monday.
   Set up a Special Group to critically investigate REFORM UK. We can’t let them get away with the constant ‘Stop the boats’ mantra repeated ever 15 minutes on their GB NEWS. Boris came to power on little else but ‘Get Brexit done’. As we saw in the last General Election, Reform UK are not only appealing to dyed in the wool Tories but they are getting massive support from ‘the red wall’ and are taking vast swaths of the youth.
   “We sort of agree with them on the Ukraine, we want to stop the flow of those seeking asylum but they are wrong on Gaza and Israel” isn’t enough. Gaza is concrete and bone hardcore for US driven Israeli expansion. The British Working classes have slowly begun to see Israel as the bad guys but that is now over. We need to look at their party in depth and piece by piece expose them as being anti working class. Reform UK might not be around for long but they are taking the working class youth. They are indoctrinating them with “Blah blah socialism doesn’t work… stop the boats”. We need to attack them now with facts, whilst Labour and the Tories bicker in the House of Commons. They are public enemy number one.

   2. In fact, they may not be ‘public enemy #1’ but just a component of a system that we oppose. We are playing a long game for an election four or so years away. One ‘bad result’ would be the revival of the Tory Party and the return of working class votes to the Labour Party in that time. We have to attack both the total centrist system and the populist Right (Reform UK) on precisely equal terms, drawing attention to the way that the latter has arisen because of the incompetence and narcissism of the former. No special policy group is required because it is becoming very clear that the Leadership team (but particularly George) is energetic in the attack on both fronts and on these equal terms. To concentrate on just one side of the equation is to assist the other – attacks only on the corrupt general system aid Right-populism where we are not standing for office but attacks on Reform that are not also attacks on the system that created them strengthens the system that created them. The key issues here are not foreign policy (although it is an attack line) but the things that voters most care about – economics, immigration and the NHS and welfare system – where Reform UK’s libertarian economics and close links to American populism at the expense of national self-determination are their true weak links. Although Reform’s leadership is not, in fact, racist, it attracts covert white nationalists who are going to be hard to control and who have international links. There are things also (growing less with time) where we have the same critique of the rotten centre and things where we need to expose their malignity and danger to the integrity of the nation and to the prosperity and security of working people. This should be a matter for a fast-thinking and effective Leadership team.

      1. Reform UK are appealing to the youth. Those who are old and bitter and cling to Reform UK we can forget about, disillusioned old Tories and the aged Lumpenproletariat. But the youth who are being indoctrinated by this fake revolutionary party we cannot. Much of the youth are actively looking for an anti establishment party that can change their lives. This TV capitalist party of millionaires are diverting those who are as fed up with liberal middle class globalism and identity politics as we are. They are indoctrinating the youth with ‘all this socialist nonsense of transgenderism and self sexual identity’ we need to take this capitalist establishment barrier to actual working classes socialism very seriously. A waft of the hand will not do comrade Pendry. They have a TV channel and they are appearing and appealing as revolutionary to a youth who are crying out for revolutionary action. They are sitting on our sofa with their feet up, we need to kick them out of the house before they infect the minds of our youth any further.

5. I had an interesting conversation with a young (23) member of the Tommy Robinson crew last night. He was just a frustrated working class Londoner who felt that Tommy Robinson spoke his language and was prepared to stand up for London which he saw as severely maladministered by the current Labour Mayoralty. However, what was clear was that his view of Islam had been created by the media reporting not on Islam but on Islamism and the extremist version of it. He denied racism in favour of ‘culture-ism’, claiming that Muslims represented an anti-culture to his own.

   Naturally I argued against this along all the usual lines especially that a) his view of Islam was false (while admitting that extremism can exist as it can in all communities: Buddhists have been implicated in massacres after all) and b) he was being manipulated into targeting the wrong enemy, fellow Britons who happened to be Muslims but were also working class inrtead of a system whose media created fantasies distorted reality in order to maintain this dysfunctional system.

   My impression was that this was not a bad person but just a poorly educated one being manipulated in the context of genuine class grievances and frustrations, The conversation persuaded me (as with other similar exchanges elsewhere) that, instead of drawing a line between us and them as the narcisdsistic and patronising liberal-left do, the task should be one of political education and engagement – getting these ‘lads’ out of the clutches of their manipulators and helping them to see the world as it really is.

   So I broadly agree with you, Paul, but to achieve what you and I want to achieve means not being seduced into street fighting with these people but understanding those of their grievances that are legitimate and those that are based on ignorance and false information. The WPB, as a working class Party in which Muslims are a strong and important part but which is still nationally orientated, serves three purposes in this respect – it demonstrates the unification of class against ethnic division, it educates politically and it is determined on dealing with legitimate working class grievances against the manipulations of both Far Right and Centrists alike.

6. I fully agree with you comrade Pendry. We unite as ‘a class’ for the benefit of our class, the working class. Political division by anything else is diversion. Be that diversion religion, sex, race or any newly progressed personal identity mantra. We must be a clearly visible signpost to our youth as they emerge into the soup of establishment and populist right propaganda.
   In our love for our green fields, our rivers, seas and air quality but above all in our people, their wellbeing and prosperity, we are the true patriots of this land. Not the rich ancestors of those that first enslaved the British working classes before they set off around the globe in ships filled with gunpowder to enslave other lands. Not in the German family that dress up and live fairytale lives in British castles. And not in some assumed fight for the well meaning morals of a 2000 year old Palestinian now conveniently painted white who was delusional about who his dad was. This strange trinity of assumed populist right identity is as far from in the interests and values of the British working classes as you can get. As is the middle class liberal idea of importing our cheap labour under the guise of beautiful diversity, instead of educating training and employing our own working classes. Uniting as a class is the only way forwards and the WPB the ideal vessel. My sledgehammer working class mind fully appreciates and agrees with your better considered words comrade.
