TUC fringe meeting a success

The Workers Party held a fringe meeting across town on Monday night as the TUC Congress got under way in Liverpool.

Our meeting heard inspirational contributions from Tosh McDonald, respected former President of Aslef and socialist supporter of Jeremy Corbyn during the key moments of his leadership. Alongside him were former Derby MP and Corbyn supporter Chris Williamson, as well as Aslef activist and WP TU Group member Andy Hudd. Lauren Wilson an activist with Unite chaired the meeting for the Workers Party.

We hope to get more of the content up, but for now, we present these contributions, and thank all the speakers, the organisers and the friends and members who made the journey to the Pilgrim.
