Join us at TUC Conference 2022 to discuss the future for our trade unions in Starmer’s Labour party. The Workers Party has organised a fringe event on Monday evening at 7pm in a city centre location. We’ll announce the venue nearer to the time to those who purchase a ticket. There’s only space for 70, so be sure to reserve your seat.
About this event
As the cost of living crisis bites hard and workers are forced to take strike action over pay and conditions, the Labour party under Sir Keir Starmer is conspicuous in its inability to offer solidarity and support to the movement and class which created it.
Join the Workers Party of Britain leader George Galloway for his views on the future of the link between the trade union movement and the Labour party. George will be joined by Andy Hudd, Vice President of ASLEF and the meeting chaired by Jason Turvey, former Treasurer of the TSSA and Secretary of the Workers Party TU Group.
